Floorboard vibration i had them upgrade to a s&s flywheel which was welded/balanced, and also the case was machined and the timken bearings were installed. i've noticed now that there is a definite vibration coming thru both floorboards.. It would be hard to speculate what might cause a “slight” floorboard vibration. these motorcycle’s can vibrate themselves apart overtime.. When driving and i am cruising from 35-55mph there is a rhythmic vibration that happens. it does not increase in frequency with speed or acceleration.....
It always vibrated while idling but would smooth out when giving it the gas. today it felt sluggish when taking off and felt vibration on the handlebars and on the floorboards and the windshield pouch was even vibrating real bad even at highway speed.. The roads here in oklahoma aren't the greatest. our 2019 forester (replaced a 2015 forester) doesn't seem to have any issues - i've not felt any vibration, but we've only had the car a month so far.. A couple of weeks ago, i posted a couple of questions about sound proofing.thanks a lot to all responders. basically, my neighbour's bathroom door closing makes my floorboards shake, and wakes me up..
